All the worthwhile media I've seen this week

UPDATE: pausing daily musings until 9/2

Hi Friends!

I’m pausing my writing until October 2nd to give myself the space to be in ceremony.

I’m running around this morning to pack all the stuff I need to camp for a week. I don’t travel light, as always. So, instead of my typical musings, I’m gonna share some of the media I’ve been reading and listening to this week. If you like this, let me know!

Texts

  1. The Living Flame of Love - by St. John of the Cross

  2. Soulmates Reimagined - Written by my Rabbi friend Zachary Goldman!

  3. Gottman Institute - What to Look for in a Long-Term Partner (research-based)

  4. Anything from Bernhard Guenther - Time of Transition Blog

  5. Ecosophia Blog from John Michael Greer

  6. Bio piece on Jess Hannah Revesz - Jewelry Designer

  7. Learning about whatever German New Medicine is

Podcasts

  1. Gracepilled - learning to speak your soul’s language

  2. Gracepilled - jesus was a witch

  3. The Christian Mysticism Podcast - St Gertrude of Helfta

  4. The Cosmic Matrix - New Age to Dogmatic Christian Pipeline

  5. Anything from Rev. Becky Tirabassi

Well, that’s all for today.

I’m in the mess of my process for ceremony right now, and I don’t have much good stuff to say. Maybe that's just what it looks like to transform: the peaks and valleys of self-growth and spiritual work. It’s knowing some things one day and absolutely nothing the next. It’s a constant learning journey.

It’s calling in the full range of the human experience. It’s what I signed up for, and it’s where I’m going.

Enjoy,
Val
